SteelSeries might have the official Diablo III license, but that doesn't mean it's the only clicking game in town. Take the new Naga Hex Wraith Red edition, for instance. On Windows you can go to mouse properties and change the size of the cursor and it will reflect the change IN GAME as well. On Mac OS X ML you go to Accessibility OptionsDisplayCURSOR SIZE this will also show the larger cursor IN GAME. If you make it too large it can be hard to click on mobs sometimes, so you need to adjust it accordingly. Mar 31, 2016 - If the mouse is over the element, the cursor style is applied. The capture mouse setting from the wrapper doesn't capture the mouse when using a -w shortcut however, but only when using the windowed mode. Re: Diablo 2: Mouse is choppy / Mouse lag Here is a test for everyone to try. 1) Run D2 singleplayer 2) Load up a map 3) Move your mouse around, get a feel of it 4) Press esc to bring up menu 5) The mouse should feel infinitely smoother and crisp for most of you. This is what I want in REAL TIME and not just the menu. Jan 13, 2016 - Diablo III Blizzard Blue Post in the Technical Support forum: Huuuuge mouse pointer in Windowed Mode. Hello First, I'd like to say that I know there is a way to 'fix' this by playing in windowed-mode. So I don't need 15 posts telling me to do that.:) Today I read about the new patch for Diablo III, and since I've not been playing this game since november last year when I got my character to level 60 and completed inferno, I thought why not download the patch and see if I can get hooked on this fantastic game again!:) I logged on just to see I couldn't use fullscreen cause I have my windows 8.1 set to maximum zoom-level on everything. I need to use these settings cause I play all my games on my Macbook Pro 15' Retina (late 2013) and my Windows resolution is 2880x1800. According to a post I found on your support site I need to change the zoom-level in my Windows settings every time I want to play. See: I can't put the game in fullscreen window-mode cause then it wants to run in my Windows resolution, and that just won't work cause my computer isn't powerful enough to do that. So, I either have to resize everything in Windows, restart my computer and then run the game, or change my Windows resolution and run the game in fullscreen window-mode. I'm not happy with that fix. I know you probably didn't mean for this bug to be there, but all I want to know is are you planning on fixing this? Cause I went to read your technical forum about the known bugs and I couldn't find this problem in the thread, even though you do know about it. So, will this be fixed soon or should I uninstall and check back in a year again? ![]() Diablo 3 Cursor SizeI too am getting this problem now, never had this issue since release, been playing on the same computer and haven't changed any settings. And to add to it, Diablo 3 keeps crashing after a while. My dpi font settings are as they always have been. I tried switching to windowed mode, and it crashed, restarted the game, it is now in windowed mode, however the mouse pointer dissapears as soon as I enter an rift. Now the battlenet desktop application crashed when doing a scan/repair. Ok, restarted computer and mouse ingame was fine, played through a rift, noticed that the gpu was running a little hot. I exited Diablo 3 and ran EVGA Precision X to control the fan speed. And the mouse pointer problem was back the next time I started the game. EVGA Precision X16 x64 5.2.3, and or RIVA Tuner Server could be the issue unless its just a random occurance. I used to run an older version of EVGA Precision X and never had the mouse issue but I recently updated to latest version. 04:01Posted by I too am getting this problem now, never had this issue since release, been playing on the same computer and haven't changed any settings. Herethos, I believe the issue has to be with EVGA Precision X (16) - because after I closed all processes running with that version of EVGA, I no longer have the same issue with mouse cursor disappearing and game crashing shortly there after. I also un-installed and re-installed the game before someone showed me this thread. I've reverted to EVGA Precision X v4.2.1.2143 and still do not see a recurrence of the issue. I posted in the bug report section earlier today. Lol, it's been YEARS that this has been a problem. I believe the closest post to how I feel, and the facts of the matter is here. 'Excuse me sir and thanks for the suggestion but I just had to.facepalm. Sure people can do exactly as you wrote and for some it might not even matter. But for me, and most likley alot of other people we have a reason why we use the Windows setting we use. We dont want to change it, we want Blizzard to make a game that isnt full of bugs and glitches. How long have this issue been known now? And nothing has been done about it. I would so much love to watch a live stream when the gamedesigner discuss this issue with his associates and how they reach the concoltion they that dont care and wont fix this, or other issues with the game. I have the feeling it might end up as some kind of tragic commedy. Its Blizzard who should fix this, not the user. ![]() The main problem isnt the settings in the users OS, its the software called Diablo3 and the responsibility is all Blizzards. Need to take a chill pill now, but thanks for taking your time and helping people with that workaround, not exactly your fault Blizzard isnt doing what they should.' Anyway, I was hoping that things had gotten better at Blizz since I left them, but alas. 04:01Posted by I too am getting this problem now, never had this issue since release, been playing on the same computer and haven't changed any settings. Demosthenes #1698Category: July-10-2012 8:28 AM PDT (7 years ago)There have been many threads about this, but this is happening once every two or three days to me. I am playing on a 2011 macbook pro.Basically the mouse pointer disappears and it becomes impossible to pick anything up because you can't aim at anything, and makes it almost impossible just to log out of the game. I've noticed it happens a lot after elite kills. Not sure if that helps nail down the problem. Diablo 3 Large CursorBut I'm pretty sure that is what it relates to as every time it happens i spend 15 mins trying to pick up rares without a mouse cursor. If anyone knows any workarounds, please offer them.
